After watching this brilliant doco and delving a little deeper into this topic, Jonathan and I committed ourselves to a month on a plant based, whole foods diet. We decided to try it out for the month of February that we would be house sitting in Melbourne and were interested to see how we would get on and if we would feel any different.

We are now one week in and loving it! Melbourne has definitely catered to the vegan lifestyle market, particularly in town, and we can honestly tell you that there is nothing we feel we are missing out on. The vegan options for things like milk, yogourt, icecream, pies etc are so good and in most cases it’s hard to believe they aren’t the real deal.
Our hope is that everyone takes a few moments to watch this as our health is so vital and it truly is our own responsibility to take care of it.
